Job Description


Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Sales Management.
  • Business qualification, an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a sales role.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Solid sales foundation, in a similar market - strong advantage.
  • Strong negotiations skills.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of the target market and the competitive environment.
  • Ability to communicate well at all levels.
  • MS Office skills.
  • Knowledge of Syspro & Skynamo, an added advantage.
Key Performance Areas:
Report to the Sales & Marketing Manager:
  • Relationship Management:
  • Ensure effective communication between the company and customers while building and developing strong relationships.
  • Efficient and effective management of client relationships.
  • Prospect and cold calling, mainly in the Aftermarket sector.
  • Regular update of CRM / Sales Mobility platform.
  • Achieve agreed daily call targets, including call frequency targets based on customer category.
  • Grow Basket to existing customers:
  • Introduce new products to existing customers.
  • Increase penetration on new product introductions whilst maintaining and growing market share on existing product ranges.
  • Sales Management:
  • Increase market share whilst protecting existing.
  • Achieve company sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, both product and customer.
  • Onboard an agreed number of new customers per month.
  • Complete monthly focus sessions.
  • Participate and attend dealer / customer marketing initiatives every quarter.
  • Administration:
  • Capture new customers and customer visit data into CRM/Sales Mobility platform.
  • Proper, efficient and effective use of the CRM / Sales Mobility platform.
  • Efficient, effective, quality reporting on all sales and marketing aspects of the business, including competitor activity and information.
  • Effective management of company owned products at customers which includes demo bars, display stands, posters, pull up banners.
  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure updated and relevant information and marketing materials are provided to customers.
