We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our Diabetes team at Novo Nordisk South Africa. You will directly report to the Field Sales Manager, Novo Nordisk.Please note that this position is contract based for 2 years fixed-term.The PositionAs a Sales Representative at Novo Nordisk, you will build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key decision-makers in the Diabetes field.Your main accountabilities will be:Promote and sell our diabetes products to healthcare providers, ensuring they have the information and resources they need to make informed decisionsDevelop and execute strategic territory plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growthStay up-to-date with the latest developments in the diabetes field and provide feedback to internal teams to support product improvement and innovationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and initiativesQualificationsAs a Sales Representative, you need to have at least 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales. Moreover, you need to have a Bachelor's degree in Life Science or any other relevant field.To be successful in this role:Strong knowledge of the market, including key competitors and industry trendsHave consultative relationships with clinicians, pharmacists, nurses and other related stakeholdersExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapid and establish trust with healthcare professionalsProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsAbility to work independently and manage territory effectivelyValid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory (Vaal)Fluency in EnglishAbout the DepartmentThe Diabetes team is based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
