This role involves actively marketing a range of technical products, building strong client relationships, and providing expert consultation to match products with various materials (wood, plastic, paper, carton, boards). If you have a passion for sales, a technical mindset, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Growth xe2x80x93 Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.New Business Development xe2x80x93 Follow up on leads within 24 hours and identify new business opportunities.Technical Consultation xe2x80x93 Advise clients on the best chemical solutions tailored to their needs.Industry & Product Knowledge xe2x80x93 Work closely with Research & development to deliver competitive solutions and stay ahead of industry trends.Account Management xe2x80x93 Maintain and grow existing customer relationships, provide product training, and oversee stock levels.Debt Collection & Admin xe2x80x93 Assist with collections, customer queries, and ensure accurate reporting.Compliance & Operations xe2x80x93 Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, stock management, and distribution.Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation:o Grade 12 (Matric) required.o Tertiary diploma or qualification in sales, marketing, or a related technical field (advantageous).Experience:o Minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 technical sales experience in plastics, paper & packaging, chemicals, or a related industry.o Proven track record in business development and sales.o Experience with Salesforce CRM (advantageous).Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong interpersonal & relationship-building skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate.Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.Ability to handle customer complaints professionally.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Technical ExpertiseStrong technical/industrial sales background required.Solid understanding of technical productsAdditional RequirementsWillingness to travel and work occasional weekends (trade shows and promotions).Ability to thrive in a competitive, high-performance sales environment.If you are ready to take your technical sales career to the next level, apply now and be part of an innovative, industry-leading team!
