Job Description
A multinational food hygiene company providing cleaning services and hygiene chemicals to food processing plants and abattoirs, requires the above to be responsible for sales and marketing within the KwaZulu-Natal area.Minimum requirements for the role:
- Must have Grade 12
- A Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry or Microbiology will be an added advantage
- Sales experience into food and beverage manufacturers and abattoirs is essential
- Must have excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong new business development and key account management skills is advantageous
- Must have a valid drivers license and be willing to travel when required
- Developing new business into food manufacturers and abattoirs to provide a full hygiene service as well as chemical sales.
- Maintaining and building client relationships.
- Meeting monthly sales targets.
- Liaising with management, providing sales and client reports.
- Monitoring sales trends and providing feedback to senior management.
- Increasing market share in the region with the provided resources.
- Developing and implementing product demonstrations in the region.
- Investigating, understanding, capturing and communicating customer requirements.
- Creating a demand for hygiene products and services.
