Job Description


Job Summary Develop a deep understanding of Deltas Health and Safety products or services to effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value propositions to customers.
Employ various sales techniques to encourage purchasing decisions, including upselling or cross-selling when applicable.
Research accounts to identify new leads and route them to the appropriate personnel to follow up on.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of Delta Health and Safety product/equipment range.
Tailor sales presentations and proposals to address customer needs, emphasizing how
Deltas offerings meet those needs.
Answer customer inquiries and demonstrate examples to customers to generate interest timeously.
Perform data entry and database management functions and update CRM with all communication.
Ensure relevant delivery/collection schedule is forwarded to logistics for implementation.
Ensure delivery requirements are communicated clearly with the logistics department!.

Check Stock availability and ensure the order is credit-released.DAILY LEADS AND ADMINISTRATION

  • Handle internal inquiries from potential customers via phone, email, chat, or other communication channels promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Address any objections or concerns raised by customers, providing persuasive information to overcome objections.
  • Compile regular sales data and updates in the CRM platform.
  • Respond to Internet, email, and telephone/cell phone inquiries and clearly populate required information; (Customer source; Industry; Customer category: End-User / Reseller and ensure you are entering the prospect in the correct Tenant.
  • Initiate follow-up calls or emails to nurture leads and move them through the sales pipeline.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to better position the company's products or services.
  • Prepare documentation/quotation and ensure they are sent through timeously.
  • Follow up on relevant documents or quotations and assist with added info or assistance if required.
  • Assist clients in completing payment after purchase,
  • Ensuring payments have been received before the release of goods.
  • Process customer orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Load/Capture all sales orders and quotations.
  • Regularly monitor all quotes sent to customers, update active status in (ERP) and close opportunities in the correct manner (Won/Lost).
  • Refer to complaints professionally.
  • Advise Customers on the progress of orders.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Reestablish communication with customers to engage on value-added products and new or re-business opportunities.
  • Aged between 18 and 34
  • Must not have taken part on the YES Programme before
