The role of the successful Sales representative will be to increase revenue for both the South African and International markets through strategic prospecting skills, high level client relationships and to promoting the positive value proposition which will enhance the sales volumes of Columbus Stainless. Whilst the Key Accounts Manager will expected to work very closely with operations and sales network teams to ensure that customer requirements are met.To be considered for either of these roles, you will need the minimum of a Tertiary qualification with at least 5 years of proven sales / marketing experience / customer interaction, preferably from the Manufacturing environment.Engineering qualifications, such as BEng or BSc / National Diploma in Metallurgy / Mechanical Engineering or Sales and Marketing Tertiary Qualification will be required.Spanish speaking proficiency will be advantageous.You will need demonstrated understanding and experience in effective team target setting and achievement.Key Account Management experience will also be valuable.Strong process and account management is a requirement with sound negotiation - and presentation skills which will be expected.It will be expected from the incumbents to consistently track, report and analyse your sales pipeline to produce the volume and forecast accuracy required to deliver team and business goals.The ability to travel regularly to either Kwa-Zulu Natal, Eastern/Western Cape or Gauteng will be required.The Person specification required is as follows:
