The successful candidate must be a customer-oriented professional who will be responsible for using their knowledge of company products to connect with customers and generate sales. The duties will include developing sales pitches to sell products, making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers, and maintaining documentation of sales, as well as regular customer visits in the designated geographical area.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12/matric
Driver's Licence (unendorsed)
Retail & wholesale sales experience
Own transport
Able to travel for work.
Computer literate
Duties and Responsibilities
Building and maintaining customer relationships in area of responsibility
Product pricing using a company device and the Syspro program
Ensure contract prices are loaded by the Buyer for specific periods
Re-negotiate contract prices after existing prices expires
Ensure product knowledge training is completed and continually updated via the Sales Manager.
Customer visits and call targets
Set new customer targets with the Sales Manager
Attend sales meetings either in Bloemfontein or Klerksdorp
Set growth targets with customers
Arrange special events
Monitor all customer activity via the BIZ Track system
