Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the Gauteng South region and Bloemfontein
- Identify new sales opportunities and grow the customer base
- Engage with scientists, researches and laboratory managers on a technical level to understand their needs and recommend suitable solutions
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and customer reengagement
- Provide technical product information and conduct product demonstrations where necessary
- Stat up to date with industry trends and competitor activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth order fulfillmentRequirements:
- Science-related qualification (e.g. Biotechnlology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field)
- Some sales experience in a laboratory or scientific environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Quick learner who can grasp technical product details and market trends
- Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently
- Not afraid to engage with scientists and discuss technical details
- Much have a valid drivers license and be will to travel within Gauteng and periodically to Bloemfontein
