A local subsidiary of a highly respected international seed company is seeking a Sales Representative: Professional Vegetables.Do you have Sales experience in Agriculture? Do you have a passion for Agriculture?You will join our hard-working team that loves working with vegetables, you will be focusing on selling of Vegetable crops/varieties and supporting of farmers in South-Africa and Africa. You will follow the requirements defined by the Sales strategy with your Region and the greater company group.
You will contribute to the agricultural community by being a solution for the future.Your main tasks will be:

• Managing customer accounts
• Technical assistance to clients where possible
• Key customer support
• Developing market share
• Contributing to sales planning and budgets
• Assisting with arrangement of farmer's days and other marketing/promotional activity
• Co-ordinating product trials within the region
• Collecting and reporting up-to-date market information
• Maintaining proficiency of sales skills and product knowledge
• Operating within budgeted OPEX
• Accurate and timeous completion of sales administration
• Delivery of product to clients, when necessary
• Coordinating all commercial activities within the region

Are you willing to:

• Work flexible hours
• Travel extensively early mornings/late afternoons/evenings
• Overnight if operational required (B&B/Guesthouses)
• Collaborate with Product Specialists and clients
• Work independently and contribute to a team

Do you have:

• Tertiary qualification (advantage)
• +4 years sales experience
• Basic knowledge of irrigation, crop protection and nutrition.
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Strong Planning Skills
• Attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure
• Computer literacy (intermediate)
• Valid Code 8 driver's license

You are a South African citizen with a clear criminal record and ITC record.
