About The Role:They're dedicated a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about water conservation, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. As a Sales Representative, the candidate will play a crucial role in promoting the water metering solutions to clients across various industries, contributing to the sustainable management of water resources. They'll have to ensure they form a long-term profitable strategic partnership with large Key Account customers and a profitable sales to smaller accounts.Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and target potential clients in industries such as municipal water management, utilities, agriculture, and commercial real estate. Research and analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to understand their water metering needs and provide customized solutions that are sustainable and profitable for both the customer and company.
  • Sales Process Management: Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, negotiable contracts, and close deals in a timely manner.
  • Sales Performance and Reporting: Track and analyse sales metrics, including pipeline activity, win/loss ratios and revenue forecasts. Provide regular updates to management on sales progress, challenges and opportunities.
  • Customer Support: Provide ongoing support to client's post-sale, including troubleshooting technical issues, addressing inquiries, and facilitating product training as needed. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and responsiveness. Responsible for both new sales and aftersales of meters, solutions, and services for the appointed accounts. Responsible for partner cooperation towards Key Account.
Requirements:
  • Matric
  • Bachelor's Degree/National Diploma: Engineering
  • 5+ Years' experience in technical solution B2B sales.
  • Computer Literate
  • Technical Knowledge about solutions & preferably electricity and water meters.
  • Experience working with customers in large global companies as well as small and medium-sized companies.
  • Contract Management capabilities.
  • Solution selling or corresponding sales approach.
  • Fluent in 1 South African language in addition to English (oral & written)
  • Must have own transport.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Professional, self-motivated, and target-driven.
  • Ability to travel within and/or outside of South Africa.
  • Delivers high standard of customer service.
