Key Responsibilities:Prospecting and Lead Generation:xc2xb7 Identify and target potential clients in industries such as municipal water management, utilities, agriculture, and commercial real estate.xc2xb7 Research and analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.Client Relationship Management:xc2xb7 Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to understand their water metering needs and provide customized solutions that are sustainable and profitable for both the customer and company.Sales Process Management:xc2xb7 Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in a timely manner.Sales Performance and Reporting:xc2xb7 Track and analyse sales metrics, including pipeline activity, win/loss ratios, and revenue forecasts.xc2xb7 Provide regular updates to management on sales progress, challenges, and opportunities.Customer Support:xc2xb7 Provide ongoing support to clients post-sale, including troubleshooting technical issues, addressing inquiries, and facilitating product training as needed.xc2xb7 Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and responsiveness.xc2xb7 Responsible for both new sales and aftersales of meters, solutions, and services for the appointed Accounts.xc2xb7 Responsible for partner cooperation towards Key Account.Education:xc2xb7 Matric.xc2xb7 Bachelor level: Commercial education combined with strong technical interest or technical education combined with strong commercial mindset or +5 years experience in technical solution BtoB sales.Experience:xc2xb7 +5 years experience in technical solution BtoB sales.xc2xb7 Computer literate.xc2xb7 Technical knowledge about solutions & preferably electricity and water meters.Knowledge and skills required:xc2xb7 Experience working with customers in large global companies as well as small and medium sizes companies.xc2xb7 Technical knowledge about solutions & preferably electricity and water meters.xc2xb7 Contract Management capabilities.xc2xb7 Solution Selling or corresponding sales approach.xc2xb7 Fluent in one South African language in addition to English oral & written.xc2xb7 It would be advantageous to possess knowledge and experience of smart metering.xc2xb7 Knowledge of prepaid metering technologies.Professional Qualities:xc2xb7 Working on all levels of the accounts & Companys organisation.xc2xb7 Strong in building relationships and ability to manoeuvre between stakeholders.xc2xb7 Long-term & value-oriented focus in problem solving.xc2xb7 Structured approach to analytical problem solving.xc2xb7 Able to work under pressure & with complex sales cases.xc2xb7 Able to communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.xc2xb7 Ambitious regarding responsibilities and achievements.xc2xb7 Results oriented.xc2xb7 Delivers high standard of customer service.Additional Considerations:xc2xb7 Must have own transport.xc2xb7 Must have a valid drivers license.xc2xb7 Professional, self-motivated and target driven.xc2xb7 Ability to travel within and/or outside of South Africa.
