Based in Springs and reporting to the Sales Manager QSR and Specialty Coffee, you will be required to continually increase sales of assigned products and maintain existing accounts within an assigned territory to achieve sales target. You will also be tasked to identify new potential products meeting the customers needs and expectations.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
Manage and deliver the customer and account strategy to maximize long term value to the company.
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Maintain sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors.
Recommend products to customers, based on customers needs and interests while ensuring profitable product mix.
Expediate the resolution of customer problems and complaints and provide on-going support to maximize satisfaction.
Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements of product mix for future demands.
Achieve set volume and value targets by capitalizing sales opportunities to maximize Gross Profit.
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices and sales.
Analyze sales figures and product mix to ensure any emerging market trends are identified early; progress against annual sales targets is closely monitored with corrective action being planned and implemented if necessary and sales opportunities are maximized.
Prepare regular reports of progress and provide forecastsProactively pursue customer orders and agreed customer actions to ensure orders are produced as per customer requirements by:
Qualifications / Experience / Requirements
Matric or equivalent
A Diploma and/or Degree in Sales and/or Marketing or Business would be an advantage
High level of emotional, intelligence able to negotiate across various levels inside and outside the organisation
An understanding of the paper and plastics packaging environment will be advantageous.
