SALESMAN
Location: Gauteng
Contract type: PermanentWell known trailer manufacturing company based in Gauteng is looking to hire a sales driven candidate to come join their dynamic team.Required Skills and Qualifications
- Matric - Grade 12 is essential, a relevant qualification is sales, marketing or business is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- 2-3 Years sales experience in a trailer manufacturing environment from other trailer manufacturing (essential)
- Must be familiar with Side Tipper Links, Curtain siders, Flat Decs, Reefers and Tankers
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials are essential
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Valid drivers license
- Knowledge of South African market trends a
- Fluency in Afrikaans and English
- Must be willing to work after hours
- Must be willing to travel short-erm business trips to surrounding countries of South Africa, China, Europe, North Africa, Australia etc, for market and product research and development
- Salary: Will be discussed during the interview
- Commission: Performance-based commission structure, will be discussed during the interview
- Benefits: Provident Fund after successfully completed 3 months probation period
