Develop comprehensive general task lists/routing of various components considering equipment capabilities and manufacturing timelines.
Evaluate and improve existing general task lists/routing to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and increase output while maintaining quality standards.
Work closely with Production Order Management, Engineering, and manufacturing team to ensure alignment in the general task lists/routings.
Ensure that general task lists/routings comply with quality standards and best practices to guarantee the delivery of high-quality components to our customers.
Provide training and support to Production team in the implementation of the new general task lists/routings including troubleshooting and addressing any operational issues.
Proactively identify process improvements and cost savings within the manufacturing task lists and lead the initiatives to implement the changes in collaboration with all stake holders.
Key interface between Production Order Management and Engineering and Manufacturing
Adhoc support to Order Management team in expediting projects with sub suppliers and Purchase orders with Suppliers
Qualification and experience required:
Minimum Grade 12 or Equivalent Tertiary qualification
Experience and knowledge of manufacturing environment.
5 years SAP/ERP Systems of production planning experience is essential.
Understanding of Routings and BOM's is essential.
Exposure to CNC, conventional lathes machines and milling machines is essential.
Exposure to Turbines, compressors, manufacturing, and refurbishment is essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and levels in the organization.
