This position operates within a broad community of practice that spans operational, technical and change management groups through regular interactions and must be successful in bringing the right people together and gaining agreement and alignment among them. (S)he is a coach within the information systems organization, acting as a consultant to the consultants.KEY RELATIONSHIPS:Internal-Information systems functional and technical resources-Global head of supply chain-Global supply chain business process owner-Regional chief procurement officers-Subject matter experts-Senior operations managersExternal-Systems integrators and other technology vendors-ConsultantsQUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:Minimum Qualifications:- University degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field - SAP CertificationCompetencies:-Strong understanding of integration between SAP MM and other SAP modules, particularly, FI-CO, EAM (PM), PS-Strong experience in hybrid model of both projects and support environment-Experience integrating with COUPA-Proven track record leading SAP MM projects from inception to completion, including solution design, implementation, and post-go-live support-Understanding of data governance tools and technologies, such as data cataloguing, metadata management and data quality tools-Knowledge of IT Service Management principles and frameworks (ITIL)-Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and reach agreement-Accustomed to working under pressure and managing planned and unplanned activities-Enjoys motivating and mentoring others-Effective communicator and presenter- Global, cross-cultural work experienceWork Experience:-8+ years expert knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA MM, Fiori apps-At least 3 full cycle implementations-Exposure to COUPA source-to-pay processes and understanding of integration with S/4 HANA- Fluency in French and/or Spanish would be viewed favourably.GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:- Leadership and Strategy: Lead the SAP MM team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Develop and execute strategies for SAP MM solutions to align with business objectives. Act as the primary point of contact between business units and IS Team for SAP MM matters.-System Configuration and Optimization: Oversee the configuration of SAP MM modules to meet business requirements. Optimize SAP MM processes and system performance to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP MM functionality and integration.-Global harmonized solution: develop solutions to promote adoption of harmonized ways of working across regions and assets while catering for local processes and jurisdictional compliance items. Negotiate agreement of effective global solutions.-Process improvement: Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP MM functionalities. Implement best practices and process improvements in materials management and procurement.-Communication and Collaboration: collaborate effectively and provide leadership to ensure alignment across the organization.-Training: provide training and support to end-users, key stakeholders, and IS teams on MM functionalities, processes and best practices. Support development of documentation including user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials.-Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to solution architecture.
