Location:

Pref Durban but can be Remote with occasional site visits to Durban, South Africa (Full-Time)

Key Responsibilities




Test Strategy and Management



Develop, implement, and manage the overall test strategy, approach, and execution for the SAP rollout. Ensure the testing framework aligns with client business objectives, project timelines, and quality standards. Define and enforce test standards and best practices for manual, automated, and performance testing.

Team Leadership and Outsourced QA Service Management



Manage and coordinate an outsourced QA managed service team, providing leadership and guidance. Ensure the team adheres to established processes for test execution, defect management, and reporting. Facilitate knowledge sharing and skills development within the QA team to ensure optimal performance.

Stakeholder Engagement



Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Manage and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including the project team, client representatives, and external vendors. Provide regular progress updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans to key stakeholders.

Project Oversight and Risk Management



Monitor and manage QA delivery timelines to ensure alignment with project schedules. Identify and address risks related to quality, timeline, and scope. Drive defect management processes, ensuring timely resolution and proper prioritization of issues.

Reporting and Continuous Improvement



Generate comprehensive reports on test progress, defect status, and overall QA health. Analyze QA metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions. Continuously optimize QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Qualifications and Experience




SAP Expertise

: Extensive knowledge of SAP systems and modules, with hands-on experience in SAP QA testing.

Retail Sector Experience

: Proven track record of managing QA for a full SAP rollout or implementation within the retail industry.

QA Management

: Strong experience in managing manual, automated, and performance testing across large-scale SAP projects.

Leadership

: Demonstrated ability to manage outsourced teams and lead cross-functional QA efforts.

Stakeholder Management

: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Project Management

: Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience in risk and scope management. *

Technical Proficiency

: Familiarity with QA tools and frameworks for SAP testing, such as SAP Solution Manager, HP ALM, or other relevant platforms.
