SUMMARY:
We are recruiting for a SAP SD/MM Consultant for our client whose role involves working on the configuration and optimization of SAP systems, particularly with SAP HANA, to meet business needs and drive operational efficiency.POSITION INFO:
The SAP SD/MM Consultant is responsible for providing expertise in the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules of SAP.Key Responsibilities:

• SAP SD/MM Configuration:

• Lead and participate in the configuration of SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) modules based on business requirements.
• Customize and optimize the SAP system to align with business processes, including pricing, billing, shipping, procurement, inventory management, and other related functionalities.
• Perform SAP HANA integration with SD/MM modules and ensure the smooth transition of data and business processes.
• SAP HANA Integration:

• Utilize SAP HANAs in-memory capabilities for performance optimization in the SD/MM processes.
• Work with HANA analytics and reporting tools to provide real-time insights and decision-making support.
• Solution Design and Development:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, providing expert advice on best practices.
• Design SAP solutions that integrate with other systems and platforms as needed.
• Perform testing, training, and documentation of solutions.
• Support and Maintenance:

• Provide day-to-day support and troubleshooting of SAP SD/MM issues.
• Ensure the system is up to date with relevant patches and updates.
• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements for SAP SD/MM modules, especially regarding the SAP HANA environment.
• Project Management:

• Lead or support project teams in SAP SD/MM-related projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
• Ensure that project goals align with business objectives and that stakeholders are informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP SD and MM modules, including full lifecycle implementations.
• Proven experience in configuring SAP SD/MM processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay).
• Strong experience with SAP HANA, including hands-on experience with system configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of SAP SD/MM module configurations and customizations.
• SAP HANA experience, particularly in managing large data sets and improving system performance.
• Understanding of ABAP (Advantageous).
• Experience with EDI/IDoc processing.
• Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various business units.
• Ability to manage projects and timelines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP SD/MM certification.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Experience in global SAP implementations.
