Requirements:

BSC Degree and or Higher National Diploma in Instrumentation with specialization in DCS/SCADA related qualifications and experience.
A minimum of 5 years experience in the industrial environment (3 years experience in an electrical utility company will be an advantage).
Proficiency in HMI (Human-Machine Interface).
Proficiency in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller).
Knowledge of control systems.
Familiarity with data acquisition.
Experience with transmitters.
Understanding of logic controllers.
Familiarity with power stations.
Knowledge of SCADA systems and components.
Proficiency in SCADA software platforms (e.g., Siemens WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition).
Strong knowledge of industrial automation protocols (e.g., CDS, Modbus, OPC, DNP3).
Understanding of network design and cybersecurity principles for SCADA systems.
Experience in installation and configuration.
Experience in repair and replacement of communication equipment.
Experience working alongside engineers and operations personnel to maintain safety and process systems for the plant.
