Scrum Master/Agile LeadRole Description and Duties:xc2xb7 As scrum master / agile lead, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating and guiding the various Engineering teams through the daily processes and ceremonies.
xc2xb7 Youll leverage your expertise in team sprint capacity planning, priority and issue management, issue triaging, analysis and testing to increase productivity within the team.
xc2xb7 This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure forward momentum and growth continues within the team while ensuring our platform remains robust, secure, and user-friendly.
xc2xb7 Manage the prioritised backlog into the teams (Engineering, QA, Data, DevOps and Security).
xc2xb7 Manage tracking and oversight of deliverables for the scrum teams they are responsible for.
xc2xb7 Coach team members on Agile practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
xc2xb7 Manage scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
xc2xb7 Manage quarterly burndowns for teams (responsible for) on completion of work.
xc2xb7 Collaboration with stakeholders (Product Owner, Director of Dev, QA Manager)
xc2xb7 Plan work into the teams for various sprints.
xc2xb7 Defending the team, collating information to support the defence.
xc2xb7 Analyzing data to find areas of improvement in the process.
xc2xb7 Removing blockages from the team - Manage the removal of impediments that block the teams progress.
xc2xb7 Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure a well scoped and defined backlog exists, that is representative of the road map (150% metric).
xc2xb7 Track and communicate team performance metrics (e.g., velocity), and hours logged.
xc2xb7 Encourage collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the team.
xc2xb7 Quality assurance testing of various feature enhancements.
xc2xb7 BA / analyst work if capacity allows.
xc2xb7 Assist with support processes via Slack channel communications as well as GitLab, leading through into team sprint priority.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:xc2xb7 Bachelors degree in Commerce or Project Management (or equivalent experience) is advantageous.
xc2xb7 Agile certification, Certified Scrum Master, Project or Programme Management certification is preferred
Preferred qualifications
xc2xb7 Experience integrating with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks).
xc2xb7 Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven design.
xc2xb7 Contributions to open-source Ruby on Rails projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
xc2xb7 Certifications in AWS, Ruby, or related technologies.
xc2xb7 Prior work in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
xc2xb7 General Linux proficiency
Experience:
xc2xb7 5+ years experience in Agile methodologies within a software development environment.
xc2xb7 Proven track record within a SaaS or data-intensive product.
xc2xb7 Experience working with a fully remote, distributed team is advantageous.
xc2xb7 Experience working with GitLab, Heap Analytics, Asana and Intercom is advantageous.
Domain knowledge:
xc2xb7 Experience with agile methodologies and frameworks and their practice.
xc2xb7 Understanding of inventory management, supply chain, or ERP systems is a strong plus.
