Assist software development teams to apply the Scrum framework. Plan deliverables and assist teams to monitor performance, resolve issues that impacts on delivery of work.

Knowledge managementEnsure that adequate knowledge regarding specialisation is shared as required and maintained within the research library Provide advice and / or training as required Maintain, develop and implement specialist knowledge within the day to day operations of the organisation


Maintain expertise levelBe a member of related professional bodies Ensure CPD (continual professional development) or similar accreditation requirements are met annually to ensure maintained specialist accreditation


Network key relationshipsEngage with and provide support to the established network of internal and external expert resources and partners


Specialist support to projectsCreate Project Plan (project charter, scope requirements, tasks and timelines) and achieve sign-off Manage project risk (identify, monitor, classify and evaluate) Effectively plan, organise, drive, control and deliver the resolution of all project phases
Provide Specialist expertise and ensure best practice related to specialisation is implemented in projects, when required Conform to project management disciplines when participating in projects Represent department or project on appropriate committees related to area of specialisation

Specialist support to projects:

Create Project Plan (project charter, scope requirements, tasks and timelines) and achieve sign off Manage project risk (identify, monitor, classify and evaluate) Effectively plan, organise, drive, control and deliver the resolution of all project phases


Position Specific Outputs

Manage each project's scope and timeline


Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups


Coach team members in Agile frameworks


Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration


Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)


Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests


Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur


Help teams implement changes effectively


Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint


Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity


Help build a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and enjoy working on it###

Requirements




8 years experience and knowledge of the scrum framework, with all its artifacts and techniques.

Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks.

Familiar with Software Development.



Degree in Computer Science, Business or related field. Scrum master certification advantageous.
