We are proudly part of Japan Post The Opportunity:We are currently have an opportunity for a Sea-Freight Controller in our team in Johannesburg.

• Registration of straight and handover documents.
• Payment of COD handover documents
• Tracking ETA of MBL (Master Bill) with shipping lines / local agents for straight and handover documents.
• Checking documents for customs clearance request / obtain any documents required.
• Open Seafreight import clearing file. Record any special instructions on file cover. Hand complete file to customs broking department for customs clearance.
• Prepare customer tax invoice.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Ability and confidence to deal with difficult customers if the need arises.
• CW1 Compliant and literate
• Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a timely manner.
• IT literate.
• Effective Time Management skills.
• Effective organisational skills with significant focus on attention to details.
