Job Description
Hire Resolve's client, a well-established mining company in the Northern Cape, is seeking a skilled and experienced Section Engineer to join their team. As a Section Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering activities and ensuring the smooth operation of mining processes.Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the maintenance and repair of mining equipment
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment performance
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Provide technical support and guidance to the team
- Participate in project planning and execution
- Conduct inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement
- BSc/BEng Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- GCC (Mines and Works)
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in the mining industry
- 5 years' experience in opencast mining
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Valid Drivers' License
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
