Job Description

Hire Resolve's client in the Museum Industry is seeking a Security and Safety Supervisor to join their team in maintaining the security and safety of the museum and its visitors.Responsibilities:

• Supervise the security and safety team and ensure daily operation
• Develop, implement, and enforce security and safety policies and procedures
• Monitor and evaluate existing security and safety measures and recommend improvements
• Coordinate with external stakeholders such as law enforcement agencies and emergency responders
• Conduct regular inspections of the museum premises to identify potential security and safety risks
• Investigate security incidents and accidents and prepare detailed reports
• Provide training to staff and volunteers on security and safety procedures
• Ensure compliance with relevant security and safety regulations
• Stay updated with the latest security and safety practices in the museum industry
• Manage access controls and surveillance systems
• Respond to emergencies and implement appropriate emergency response protocols
• Collaborate with museum management to develop and implement emergency evacuation plans

Requirements

• Previous experience in security and safety management, preferably in a museum or cultural institution
• Knowledge of relevant security and safety regulations
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in security and safety software and systems
• Certification or training in security and safety management is a plus
