Closing Date: 17/06/2024Purpose of the roleProvide a secure working and living environment for all staff (incl. expats and their relatives), contractors, and suppliers and, where appropriate, their guests and customers. Ensure that OpCo premises are secure and assets and products are safeguarded against misappropriation, theft, fraud, manipulation and sabotage.Key Responsibilities:

  • To accomplish the job, you will initiate and oversee the process of implementation of the HEINEKEN global security standards (as mentioned in the HeiRule Physical Security), guidelines and local procedures and build a solid and functional relationship with management, brewery security managers and expats.
  • To advice and support the head of SHERQ on all security arrangements/issues regarding all staff, assets and activities on request or uninvited.
  • To perform and support security reviews, risk assessments and audits in accordance with both the HEINEKEN global security standards as the internal security requirements.
  • Advice and support w/r to identified OpCo sponsorship events, both in the preparatory as execution phase of these events, to mitigate/control the sponsored event accompanying risks (i.e. security, safety and health).
  • Monitor and improve the security processes and (technical) systems of the company.
  • Upon request, advice and assist w/r to security systems, installation project management (i.e. perform a need assessment, discuss operational and system requirements, participate in vendor selection, contract award, installation and commissioning).
  • Joining memberships and establishing good working relationships with relevant (security) industry groups and associations (private and public, including law enforcement).
  • Provide advice, recommendations and guidelines related to travel security and other personnel security matters for (expatriate) staff, visitors, and contracted personnel.
  • Prepare and timely disseminate threat assessments and (security) forecasting and share security considerations /recommendations with local management.
  • Provide guidance w/r to implementation of security awareness and training programs.
  • Maintain overview w/r to the use of outsourced security contracts ensuring compliance with local regulations and global security standards and to ensure that they provide quality service in accordance with the standards set in the contract agreements.
  • Assure compliance of outsourced security service providers with the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (i.e. International Code of Conduct for Private Security Providers) and the Guidelines for the use of Security Forces.
  • Ensure OpCo is compliant with all HEINEKEN and local security regulations.
Crisis Management:
  • Advice and support on mitigating measures relating to the protection of staff, locations, assets and information when threat levels increase or escalate.
  • Generating and timely disseminate, clear and relevant threat- and risk analyses reports for management.
  • Upon request, participate as member in a Crisis Management Team, in which you act as crisis coordinator and intermediary for local government authorities.
  • Ensure that contingency preparedness plans are drafted, up-to-date, understood and periodically rehearsed by all relevant staff. Make sure that these plans are aligned with the HEINEKEN global Crisis Manual and (Proseco's) Contingency Preparedness Standards.
Relationship Management (Networking):
  • Develop and maintain an extensive network of all relevant stakeholders both internally (OpCo) as externally (Proseco, government, police, embassies, security agents, etc.).
  • Ensure that the providers/vendors forming the security network are proficient, reliable and respectful of compliance rules (i.e. HEINEKEN Supplier Code) and that all performed security operations performed are compliance with national law.
  • Establish and maintain liaison with local and national authorities, law enforcement agencies, private security companies and corporate security peers.
  • Work closely with other key support functions such as Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, P&CI, and Legal to attain company business objectives.
Projects:
  • Together with Proseco, the Global Security Department of HEINEKEN participate in the work program of Global Audit department regarding brewery audits (= Integrated Brewery Audits)
  • Advice and support w/r workplace investigations, regarding (internal) criminal and security incidents.
  • Advice and support w/r to security of VIP visits.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) preferably in security management.
  • Applicable security and/or risk management courses.
  • Minimum of ten years' experience in corporate security, risk management, security consulting in combination with experience in law enforcement, military, other government security or intelligence services (in a high security risk environment) preferably in respective OpCo country.
  • Knowledge of and demonstrable experience regarding crisis management, emergency response and security assessments/surveys.
  • You act on basis of one's own convictions rather than trying to please others, you can work on your own.
  • You are an articulate and persuasive adviser, who can communicate all security related concepts to a broad range of staff (i.e. higher management, staff, expats, contractors etc.). Communication skills are essential to this job function (manoeuvring between strategic, tactical and operational levels).
  • A high level of proficiency in English written and oral communications is needed.
  • Experience in working with and in a multinational management team.
  • Valid driver license is required.
