Job Description

The Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security operations within the organization. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to ensure the safety and security of employees, assets, and facilities. The Security Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard employees, assets, and facilities.
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
• Manage security personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security measures and respond to incidents.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarms.
• Monitor and analyze security metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies in a timely and effective manner, including conducting investigations and reporting findings.
• Stay informed about emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve security posture.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate security requirements into business processes and projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to security.

The following will be required:Drivers license.SIRA qualifiedTrained in handling of fire arms and legal requirement to handle fire armsMust be able to manage guards, do shift planning and training

• Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies, including access control, surveillance systems, and physical security.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience managing security teams and fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence positive change.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and security management software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
