We are seeking a highly experienced, professional, and discreet female Close Protection Security Consultant, to provide comprehensive security planning, risk assessment, and advisory services to a principal based in the KwaZulu-Natal region. This demanding role requires a proactive approach to security, exceptional judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in various environments while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.

Crescent Star Pty Ltd is an unlisted privately held Investment Company based in Natal, Durban.
The company is involved in a variety of private investments as well as dealing in social upliftment programme's between Durban and Capetown.
There is no online presence of the company due to its private nature thus the requirement of an exceptional individual to provide the same to its direct ownership and CEO.

Duties & Responsibilities:
You are also required to provide full close protection security detail to the CEO and guests where required, accompanying on travels and availability to travel on short notice, for extended periods, which would include availability on demand over weekends, public-holidays after hours.

Responsibilities:

? Conduct thorough threat, vulnerability, and risk assessments pertaining to the principal's

personal safety, residence(s), travel, and public appearances.

? Develop, implement, and manage bespoke security strategies, protocols, and standard operating procedures.

? Provide expert security advice and regular briefings directly to the principal and designated staff members.

? Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of travel security, including route analysis, logistical arrangements, and advance reconnaissance.

? Liaise effectively with other security personnel, law enforcement agencies, venue staff and relevant stakeholders.

? Maintain constant situational awareness and monitor potential threats through intelligence gathering and analysis.

? Prepare detailed security reports, incident reports, and operational plans.

? Respond calmly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, providing immediate support and coordination.

? May be required to provide direct close protection or secure escort services on occasion.

? Ensure all activities comply with relevant South African laws and regulations, including PSIRA standards.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum of 5-8 years of documented experience in professional close protection, corporate security management, or relevant high-level security roles (e.g., specialized military or police units).

? Essential: Valid and current PSIRA registration (Minimum Grade B, Grade A with

Specialist CPO qualification highly preferred).

? Proven track record in operational security planning, risk assessment, and crisis management.

? Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and negotiation skills.

? Unquestionable integrity, discretion, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

? Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, make critical decisions under pressure, and

adapt to changing situations.

? Gender Requirement: Please note that due to specific operational requirements related

to the principal's privacy and personal care, this position requires a female advisor. This is

considered a bona fide occupational requirement (BFOQ) for this role.

? Valid South African Driver's License (Code B minimum); Advanced/Defensive driving

certification is advantageous.

? Recognized and current First Aid / Trauma qualification (e.g., Level 3 First Aid, FREC 3, or equivalent).

? Good level of physical fitness suitable for the demands of close protection work.

? Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally as required.
