A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record in cloud security
In-depth knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud services, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPC, security groups, and other relevant services
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable
Familiarity with industry-specific compliance standards and regulations
Experience in incident response, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery (ICER) processes
Proficiency in using security tools and technologies, such as intrusion detection systems, SIEM solutions, and vulnerability assessment tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex security issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
Cloud Security: Develop and implement security measures for AWS and Google Cloud resources, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and infrastructure
Governance: Establish and maintain cloud governance policies and procedures, including access controls, compliance, and best practices, in alignment with industry standards and
regulations
Monitoring: Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities, suspicious activities, and potential threats. Proactively identify and remediate security issues
Incident Response: Lead and coordinate incident response efforts in the event of security breaches, including investigation, analysis, and resolution of security incidents
Security Assessments: Conduct security assessments and penetration testing of cloud resources to identify weaknesses and recommend improvements
