As a Senior Account Manager for TTH, you'll be creating close relationships with our clients to translate their needs into dsm-firmenich projects, as well as working proactively with creative new projects for the inspiring world of flavors. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for promoting and selling a variety of flavors to major and or key accounts, as well as grow sales profitability and build long term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:



Define account objectives, develop commercial strategy, understand and document the competitive landscape, implement through account plan. Identify, document and question client for more business potential - Maximize business Vitality/Pipeline. Develop successful working relationship with (new and existing) clients, establish dsm-firmenich as key partner to obtain briefs for profitable business. Get clear and complete briefings from clients, translate their needs into dsm-firmenich projects and brief the creation and development team. Monitor client satisfaction and initiate corrective action where needed. Plan, prepare and set objectives for client face to face meetings (Contact report template). Negotiate with clients' prices for new business and price increases for existing items. Complete briefing from clients, translate their needs into dsm-firmenich projects; brief creation and development teams Anticipate clients' needs and lead proactive projects to generate new business opportunities (must use brief template). Define accurate pricing and margin parameters for each project, according to guidelines, and enter properly all project Information in project management system according to established rules (including regulatory) (including project models rules in Flavors) Lead/coordinate projects with internal partners and with clients (including flavor submissions) Understand GP vs GM. Drive projects towards the best possible solution for both the client and dsm-firmenich - attention to sense urgency. Share visit reports within 72 hours, client information and feedback, and when needed conduct post-mortem analysis. Manage products life cycle with MDM, demand planning, customer care and supply chain to ensure high level of service to clients and good working practices for dsm-firmenich (such as good forecasts). Monitor sales and profitability versus objectives, provide input to monthly and quarterly Sales forecast and LE's (latest estimates). Monitor and optimize all other financial aspects of the account, in particular expenses (incl. market research) vs budget and clients over dues vs objectives. Make sure all commercial data and documentation are accurate and properly maintained (see details in Commercial Assistant's job description). Close working relationship with Commercial Assistant to ensure all admin and systems up to date.

You Bring:



Tertiary qualification (business administration, economics, marketing, science...). 5+ years of flavor or food ingredients sales experience is a must. Ability to develop solid account plans to category plans. Advanced Sales and Negotiation skills. Extended product expertise (product, market, consumer, technical/technology) and passion for flavors/Ingredients. Ability to define, prioritize and implement action plans according to business opportunities and success factors. Fluency in English.
