Job Description
My client, based in Woodstock, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their Finance team on a temporary basis (5 months). This role is critical in providing financial support and guidance to management, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective operation of business units in alignment with the company's strategy, budgets, and plans.Responsibilities:
- Finance Development and Implementation
- Management Reporting
- Manage the department's operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective financial management
- Business Support and Partnership
- Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental objectives
- Manage payroll operations to ensure timely and accurate payment
- A Financial Degree
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance-related role
- At least 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory position
- Available to start the five month contract from 1 October
