:DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Senior Accountant to join our team in Ermelo, Mpumalanga. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing processes. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and helping the organization achieve its financial goals. The Senior Accountant will work collaboratively with various departments and contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts, while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Handle monthly reconciliations of accounts, bank statements, and general ledger.
• Prepare and assist with audits, ensuring all documentation and supporting materials are available.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Provide support for tax return preparation and compliance.
• Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and reporting.
• Utilize Pastel Accounting and MS Excel for accurate and efficient reporting.
• Maintain and organize financial records and documentation in accordance with company policy.
• Stay updated on the latest accounting trends and regulations.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or related financial roles.
• B.COMPT degree or equivalent qualification is required.
• Proficient in Pastel Accounting software, MS Word, and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, auditing principles, and accounting practices.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
