Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports
Perform Balance sheet reconciliations
Interpret income statements and cashflow statements
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
Over see and perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts
Ensure all entries are accurate and complete
Investigate and resolve discrepancies on accounts
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
Monitor and analyze budget variances
Provide insights and recommendations for corrective actions
Prepare and file tax returns
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations
Analyze financial data
Supervise and mentor junior staff
Stakeholder management
Payroll processingSkills & Experience:
Proven experience processing payroll
Minimum of 3 years in a finance-related role
Proficiency in Sage and PastelQualification:
Relevant Finance or Accounting degree
Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles would be beneficial
