Job Description

Seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee and control my global clients' financials'. You will be responsible for IFRS compliance, managing internal processes, preparing and producing audit reports and maintaining the general ledger. • Verify compliance with IFRS standards and internal finance policies
• Manage internal transactions as stated by Transfer Pricing Policy
• Liaise with regional service providers, verify filing of statutory local returns, done correctly and timeously
• Complete monthly balance sheet recons and produce balance sheet analysis
• Identify areas of development and improvement of processes, maintaining internal controls
• Assist with tax audits and produce tax returns, assist with annual audit preparation
• Produce quarterly tax effect accounting
• Look into and solve audit findings, discrepancies, and non-compliance
• Produce financial analyses and reports
• Accurately maintain general ledger
• Assist Group Financial Controller with reports
• Liaise with Administration Officers and Regional Operation Managers
• Mentor junior finance staff

Requirements:

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar, together with relevant Professional Registration
• Minimum of 5 years senior experience, in mid-sized companies, experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close processes
• Solid knowledge of IFRS
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred)
