Valuation: Conduct valuations for IFRS17 & SAM, and analyze and allocate profits.
Process Improvement: Enhance and document systems and valuation processes.
Methodology Enhancement: Improve valuation and analysis methodologies.
Regulatory Compliance: Assist with valuator, statutory, and ASISA returns.
Reporting: Prepare management reports and conduct special investigations.
Stakeholder Support: Provide efficient service and maintain quality interactions with clients.
Project Contribution: Engage in projects, initiatives, and experience investigations to refine assumptions.
Qualifications:
Education:
Matric
Degree in Actuarial Science (Honours preferred)
Good progress with actuarial exams; AMASSA exam level preferred
Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and Prophet; knowledge of MS Power BI and SQL is a plus
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in Life Insurance actuarial roles, focusing on valuation and reporting (SAM, IFRS4, EV); IFRS17 experience is a plus
Strong technical expertise with Prophet and DCS preferred
Experience with SQL, report writing, and regulatory reporting is advantageous
Interest in valuation, balance sheet management, and experience investigations
