Hire Resolve's client, a leading mining company, is seeking a Senior Advisor for Asset Protection to join their mining team in Gauteng. This critical role will focus on safeguarding the organizations assets while providing strategic guidance on security protocols and risk management.Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive asset protection strategies to mitigate risks and losses.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities in systems and processes.
• Liaise with law enforcement and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a security-conscious culture across the organization.
• Provide training and support to management and staff on asset protection policies and procedures.
• Monitor and investigate incidents related to asset protection and enforce corrective measures.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on security incidents, trends, and recommendations to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging threats to proactively adapt strategies.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Degree/Diploma in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• Firearm handling competency.
• 5 years' experience in a supervisory position within the mining sector (Gold or Precious Metals)
• Strong knowledge of security systems, protocols, and legislation relevant to the mining industry.
• Valid Drivers' License
