Join our team in Klerksdorp, North West, as a Senior Advisor specializing in Built Environment and Planning. This permanent role offers a chance to make a real impact in the local government space.
Role Overview:
- Reporting directly to the Provincial Director of Operations
- Implement tailored solutions to address municipal challenges in Built Environment and Planning
- Guide on legislative, policy, and procedural compliance
- Strengthen institutional capacity and governance in municipalities
- Relevant Post-graduate qualification at Hons level (Development Planning, Town and Regional Planning, or related discipline)
- Registered Professional Planner or eligible for registration with SACPLAN
- Minimum 6 years' experience in Development Planning, with 3 years at managerial level
- Thorough understanding of Municipal Planning, Land Use Management, and Integrated Development Planning
- Knowledge of tools and techniques used in development planning and their linkages to Economic Development
- Experience in business process re-engineering related to Municipal Planning and Economic Development
- Strong administrative and management capacity in a program-related environment
- Must have own car and driver's license
