• Respond to and resolve user-reported issues and requests related to application functionality
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify and address potential problems
• Build metrics with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics / Dynatrace/ Elastic / Kibana / Grafana and Prometheus.
• Implement and maintain cloud monitoring solutions, interpreting metrics to ensure service quality
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot complex issues and implement solutions
• Collaborate with cloud service providers to resolve platform-specific issues and implement best practices
• Maintain and update application documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures
• Participate in the deployment and post implementation testing of software updates and new applications
• Provide training and support to end-users on various applications
• Manage and resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure and applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complex issues in cloud-based applications
• Assist in cloud resource optimization and cost management
• Participate in cloud migration projects and post-migration support
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and procedures

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of common business applications and databases

Years of Experience

• - 2+ years of experience in application support or a similar IT role
• - 1-3 years of experience supporting cloud-based applications

Other requirements

• Relevant Information Technology Diploma/Degree
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, CompTIA)
• Associate-level cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate)
• Experience with specific business applications used in our organization
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Knowledge of serverless computing concepts and technologies
