Job SummaryHire Resolve is partnering with a leading Architecture and planning firm based in Pretoria that is currently seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join their team.As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing the architectural design process and ensuring the successful execution of projects.Responsibilities

• Experienced in delivering large-scale mixed-use and commercial projects
• Represents the practice in project briefing meetings
• Creates accurate sketch illustrations in Revit based on client requirements
• Assists with graphic design for presentations
• Contributes to 3D visualizations of project proposals
• Produces and coordinates council submission documents (SDP and Building Plans)
• Prepares working drawings in coordination with other teams
• Attends site meetings to resolve issues and prevent delays
• Conducts independent site inspections and monitors construction progress
• Involved in multiple large-scale projects from start to finish
• Uses effective methods to motivate and guide project teams
• Willing to travel internationally as needed

Requirements

• Master of Architecture (M.Arch/B.Arch earned prior to 1998)
• 5-10 years of post-graduate experience
• Registered with SACAP (South African Council for the Architectural Profession)
• Advanced proficiency in Revit (certification preferred), with a minimum 70% score in B+P Revit Assessment
• Proficient in sketching with Revit and by hand
• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Master Suite for graphic design
• Intermediate proficiency in 3D visualization software for presentations
• Advanced expertise in council documentation and submission processes
• Advanced knowledge of technical detailing and construction documents
• Advanced understanding of site administration and project management
• Excellent record-keeping practices
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Dedicated to providing excellent client service through efficient and high-quality work
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in teams
• Experienced in problem-solving and decision-making
• Effective in planning and organizing workflows and resources to meet deadlines
• Able to manage individuals within a team and monitor activities actively
• Skilled in building relationships within project teams and with clients
• Demonstrates a positive example and exhibits loyalty to the company
