SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGISTNorthern SuburbsJoin a close-knit Development team in managing multiple projects through all phases from proposal through to construction!Responsibilities will include:

• Accurate measurement and scoping of building to create drawings to the specifications and requirements of the company and franchisor.
• Adopting a creative and innovative approach to design, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.
• Ensure drawings & plans are compliant with National Building Regulations SANS and other statutory construction requirements for retail premises
• Collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Manage and submit constructions & signage drawing for council approval nationally, liaising with key stake holders in the approval process, and obtaining occupation certificates as end result.
• Solid experience with local authority submissions.
• Researching all relevant information that might impact on the development of the site

Experience, education & skills needed:

• Degree in Architecture or similar
• Must be SACAP Registered
• 5 Years experience as an Architectural Technologist in a retail environment
• Adept with Revit L.T
• Well versed in latest council legislation, policies & procedures
• Skilled in managing multiple projects through all phases from proposal through to construction
• Strong experience in drawing up costings, schedules & other project documentation
• Advanced understanding of the architectural design process and integration of interior architecture with the ability to develop interior design element components.
• Valid drivers license & the ability to travel for projects as needed
