Work set-up: This is a fully remote position for candidates based in South Africa; however, the role requires working hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone (ET).Our client in the advertising and marketing industry is looking for a Senior Art Director / Designer, the selected candidate will be pivotal in shaping and executing the creative vision for a variety of projects. Will build concepts and drive creative development based on brand briefs and content strategy for projects between 2-6 weeks long. Project types include Key Visual development, Banner campaigns, and Photo/Video Productions.What you will do:

• Strong ability to create engaging and relevant content for social media.
• Transform brand content into a variety of work for social media, including clips, GIFs, graphics, photos, stories, and more.
• Create the overall creative vision and direction for projects.
• Lead visual creative efforts during the Concepting and Ideation stages.
• Develop and finalize Master assets to establish the design framework for all additional project assets, before passing them off to tactical design team.
• Oversee the creative process throughout the project lifecycle until final delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in creating relevant content for social media (Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube, etc)
• Experience as an Art Director/Designer in a digital creative environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in campaign origination, amplification, and versioning.
• Ability to develop Master assets and oversee the tactical design process.
• Excellent understanding of digital and social media content creation.
• Proficient in relevant design software and tools.
• Aptitude for developing this content across all platforms, combining expertise in design, video editing, and social media art direction.
• Skills in time management, organization, teamwork, and communication.
