The candidate will also be responsible for the Business Development of the Corporate and Commercial practice. Furthermore, the candidate will be required to develop and transfer his/her knowledge and skills in this sphere to the junior members of the team. Qualifications LLB Degree Tax qualification Admission as an Attorney in South Africa Legal Practice Council member in Good Standing At least 5 years postadmission experience at a large, well-established law firm, or in the inhouse legal department of a large corporate group of companies Experience in corporate and commercial law is essential, and particularly in drafting and reviewing contracts. Ability to conduct extensive research and having a detail-oriented approach. Criteria Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Highly motivated and reliable individual Ability to make sound judgements.
