Senior Bookkeeper Bellville Cape TownOur engineering manufacturing client in Bellville is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper with 10 years plus solid experience from Finance, Admin to HR Administration and Payroll. All on SAGE Software. Overseeing 5 other people in the finance department, management skills required and the ability to handle pressure and stress.Min RequirementsMatric and financial certificates or degree advantageous10 years plus Senior Bookkeeping experienceExperience in Financial Reporting and Payroll - SAGEFull FOREX and foreign currencies experience imports and exportsFull Debtors and Creditors management experienceCredit Controller experienceResponsibilitiesFull Senior Bookkeeping to Balance Sheet & General ledger Management - SAGEManaging and overseeing finance department reporting to the Financial ManagerCash Management - Cashbook capturing bank and credit card statements and reconciling cash books monthlyBank ReconciliationMaintaining Fixed Asset Register in Excel, including recording Assets and DepreciationPerforming General Ledger and Balance sheet ReconciliationsMaintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, and resolving discrepanciesMonth-end recons and reconciling to General Ledger and maintaining supporting schedulesAssisting in the development of budgets and forecasts and monitoring actual performance against budgeted targets and providing variance analysisAccounts payable and receivable - Full function Accounts Payable & Accounts ReceivableProcessing Invoices for suppliers and customersAudit support - Assisting with internal and external auditsTax compliance - Preparing and submitting VAT returns, EMP201, EMP 501 and other statutory returnsVat audits and Monthly PAYE, SDL, UIF for payroll (small payroll)Apply onlineFrogg Recruitment
