POSITION: Senior Bookkeeper (Contract 18 - Months)
LOCATION: Constantia Kloof, JohannesburgPurpose of the job

  • Looking for a senior bookkeeper up to financial statements.
Key performance areas
  • Processing of debtorxe2x80x99s invoices and debt collection.
  • Processing of creditors invoices, creditors reconciliations, expense reimbursements and processing of payments.
  • Uploading of new creditors and suppliersxe2x80x99 details and verification of creditors details.
  • Processing of bank transactions and reconciliations of bank accounts.
  • Processing of journals.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and report on variances against budget.
  • Perform administration duties relating to bank and cash management.
  • VAT reconciliations, submissions to SARS and liaising with SARS on audits, payments and refunds relating thereto.
  • Ensuring accurate record keeping.
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts and ensuring maximum interest is earned on cash balances.
  • Loading payments on the electronic banking system and ensuring all payments are processed and distribute proof of payments where necessary.
  • Preparation of monthly ledger reconciliations.
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register and processing depreciation, additions, and disposals.
  • Ordering of stationery and refreshments for the office.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as and when required.
  • Prepare Annual Financial Statements, income statements and balance sheets.
