Bookkeeper
Diep River
Salary: R25 000 basic (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)Our client has provided renewable energy systems to the residential, commercial, and agricultural sectors over the past decade. They are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team at their Head Office in Diep River.This role requires an individual with strong decision-making skills, confidence in communication, and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate is goal-driven, deadline-oriented, and proactive, with a grounded yet extroverted personality to take ownership of financial tasks and ensure efficiency in daily operations.Minimum Requirements:

• Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or finance role
• Proficiency in SAGE Pastel and Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Goal-driven, able to work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines
• Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently
• Driver's license and own transport

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining financial records, including accounts and statements
• Processing invoices and data entry
• Bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
• Financial reporting to the external accountant
• Payroll administration
• Assistance with AFS preparation
• Assisting with stock take
• Supplier administration and preparing supplier payments
• Maintaining the order payments sheet
• Customer administration
