PermanentSeeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Spartan, Kempton Park. The ideal candidate will manage a book value of R80 million per annum and growing, utilising Xero and Navision for stock and sales. Experience within retail preferred. The role requires a hands-on approach, a willingness to assist in various capacities, and strong organisational skills.Minimum Requirements:
A relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance.
A minimum of 5 years experience as a Bookkeeper within the retail industry
Proficiency in Xero and Navision or any other retail POS, particularly in stock and sales management.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.Duties and Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping: Manage all bookkeeping activities up to trial balance and hand over to Accountants.
Payroll Preparation: Handle payroll preparation ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Stock Management: Conduct stock takes twice a year, maintaining accurate records.
Property Management: Oversee property management-related bookkeeping tasks.
Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and statements as required.
Assist in Various Capacities: Willingness to lend a hand where needed, ensuring smooth operations within the finance department.
