As the right-hand to the Financial Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in reporting to head office in Italy - where you'll keep inventory in check, navigate foreign transactions like a pro and ensure everything calculates smoothly. If you've got a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to account for every penny, they want YOU to be part of the ledger team! xf0x9fx92xbcxe2x9cx8dxefxb8x8fDuties Will Include (But Are Not Limited to):

• Maintain financial records up to balance sheet
• General ledger maintenance
• Accounts receivables and payable processing and reconciliations
• Bank and payment preparation and reconciliations
• Foreign exchange transactions
• Credit card statements and expense claim reconciliations
• Process monthly journals and adjustments
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Assist with month-end and year-end processes, journals and reconciliations
• Manage inventory control systems and processes
• Quotations, orders, invoices, stock preparation and distribution
• Plan and oversee stock takes

Education Requirements:

• Completed Matric (Grade 12)
• Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or finance

Job Requirements and Skills:

• 15+ years' experience in an accounting position essential
• Sage or Pastel Evolution knowledge preferred
• Knowledge of foreign transactions
• Proficient in MS packages
• Deadline driven
• Ability to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
• Team player
