We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in Johannesburg, Gauteng.Role: Senior Bridge Design EngineerIndustry: Civil/Structural EngineeringLevel: Senior/ExperiencedKey Requirements:BSc (Civil Engineering) or BTech (Civil/Structural Engineering).Pr Eng or Pr Tech (ECSA) registration.12+ years of experience in bridge design, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.Expertise in the design of bridges and associated road structural elements.Proficiency in Finite Element Design Software such as Sofistik, Prokon, AutoCAD, and Revit.Experience in preparing contract documentation, specifications, and schedules of quantities.Knowledge of SANRAL processes is an advantage.Experience in bridge hydrology and hydraulics, as well as feature bridge design, is advantageous.Ability to manage design teams, allocate resources, and adhere to project budgets.Experience in technical report writing and feasibility studies.Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.Personal Attributes:Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and clients.Strong leadership and management abilities, with a focus on team coordination and project delivery.Well-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Innovative and solution-oriented, able to develop cost-effective and technically sound designs.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to tackle complex design challenges.Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.High level of integrity and professionalism in all dealings.If you would like to apply for this position, please send your CV through to Alternatively, contact us at XXX-XXXX for more information or visit our website on:
