Company Overview: We are an international recruitment firm working with a multinational leader in capital markets solutions. Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Basel 3.5 / 4 regulations to join their team.Position Summary: The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in assisting with the testing of results and regulatory returns, focusing on the Final Basel 3 reforms (also known as Basel 3.5), specifically related to Credit Capital. The ideal candidate will bring a strong conceptual understanding of Basel 3.5/4 and banking experience, with an emphasis on validating test results and ensuring the accuracy of regulatory returns.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the testing of results and regulatory returns in accordance with Basel 3.5/4 regulations.
• Validate test cases and results against Basel regulations.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of Regulatory Returns (e.g., BA 200, BA 210) post-completion, validating correct population in applicable buckets.
• Provide additional capacity to the clientxe2x80x99s team, enabling them to focus on data sourcing and other critical design work.
• Create and validate reporting as per Basel 3.5/4 regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
• Work with the vendor system used by the client, with training provided as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Strong conceptual knowledge of Basel 3.5 / 4 regulations.
• Experience in banking, particularly in capital markets.
• Previous experience validating test results and regulatory returns against Basel regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently as required.
• Familiarity with data sourcing and ETL processes is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Working Conditions:

• 5 days a week in the office, with flexibility based on circumstances.
• Initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.
