Job Description


Our client within the retail, food fmcg space is looking for a Senior Buyer to join their team in Cape Town.The Senior Buyer is responsible for driving the procurement process for assigned commodities, ensuring the timely and cost effective acquisition of goods to support the business needs. The role involves, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the highest quality and value in procurement activities. The Senior Buyer will negotiate contracts and manage supplier performance to align with the company's strategic goals. Additionally this role requires a deep understanding of procurement best practices, risk management and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise the supply chain and contribute to the overall success of the business.Requirements:

  • Related Supply Chain Qualification
  • 5 Years experience within the FMCG or Quick Service Restaurant industry
  • Two Years managing a team
  • Exposure to MS Office and Sage Evolution
