Our client in the Manufacturing industry is currently looking for a Senior Buyer, in Johannesburg, Gauteng.Responsibilities:

• Stationery Portfolio Management Overview:
• Managing competitively priced portfolios to achieve profitability and market share growth.
• Preparing product launches for KAM and sales.
• Adherence to licensing requirements and meeting forecasts.
• Weekly and monthly sales reports to the team.
• Creation and maintenance of order forms and price documents.
• Proofing and approval of product and packaging artwork.
• Preparation and distribution of studio briefs.
• Annual line review with merch planner.
• Master Schedule:
• Setting up annual, weekly schedules to meet production/importing deadlines.
• Sourcing and liaison with product suppliers.
• Frequent negotiation on price with import suppliers.
• Sample requests and updated product details.
• Market Analysis:
• Regular and ongoing SWOT analysis.
• Identification of growth opportunities.
• Regular trade visits to assess SAG product, positioning, price, and competitor activity.
• Pricing:
• Ongoing price exercises on new product ranges.
• Creation of customer quotes.
• Updated supplier prices, shipping rates, landed costs, and ROExe2x80x99s.
• Cost of product management and corrective action where required.
• Trade Shows & Customer Portfolio Presentations
• Manage presentation preparations, ensure correct information for successful launch.
• Participation in trade shows, product/design selection, layout planning, stock readiness, and attendance at trade shows.

• Have either a BCom/Marketing Degree
• +/- 2 years of Marketing/Product management experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Own reliable transport.

• Up to R260 000 per annum.
• 13th cheque (CTC is divided by 13 months instead of 12 months)
