They are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Claims Officer to join their growing team.More about the opportunity:As a Senior Claims Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of reinsurance claims, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficient handling of claim processes. This role requires strong expertise in claims administration and a deep understanding of the reinsurance sector.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process a portfolio of reinsurance claims, from notification through to resolution.
• Ensure claims are handled in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance on complex claims to junior staff and external partners.
• Liaise with internal departments, brokers, clients, and external stakeholders to facilitate claim settlements.
• Review claims documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness before processing.
• Collaborate with underwriters and actuaries on the assessment of claims and potential financial impacts.
• Monitor claim trends and prepare reports for senior management.
• Participate in negotiations and settlements with clients or reinsurers.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working in the technical reinsurance claims space
• Bachelor's degree in law, risk management, business administration or finance
• Extensive experience in claims management within the reinsurance industry
• Strong knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance issues related to claims
• Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office suite
• Proven ability to handle complex and high-value claims
